Yolanda Vukovich’s painting practice utilises Lacan’s theory of desire to examine the innate link between fetishism and the ways in which we assert bodily autonomy. Drawing from images shared by users on flickr, Vukovich melds private forms of expressions with the public, giving form to the autonomous nature of sexuality.
