The National Art School acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, the traditional owners on whose lands, water and skies we meet and share.

Eloise Farley (b. 2002, Eora/Sydney) is a printmaker living on Cammeraygal land in Sydney, NSW. Her work explores themes of materiality, place and memory. Her works often interchange between screen printing, etching, casting and Monoprinting. Her process is one of persistence and patience, the immersive technique she takes on by working in silence allows her to connect with her subject on a deeper level and allows her to be present whilst making. Her most recent body of work is a combination of brush latex casts, screen printing and monoprinting, using the motif of red bricks and sandstone to explore her deep connection to site and material. This work combines a full-scale latex cast of a wall, a screenprint and monoprints of smaller casts, her work especially implements scale and texture to emphasise her personal fascination with her subjects.
