Playfully belligerent, antagonistic, anachronistic painting. Neeva paints from a breadth of references mixing the highs of the Italian Renaissance from Guido Reni and Raphael to Francis Picabia and Martin Kippenberger; as well as DC comic references and adult magazines. Her worlds are layered and surreal with images and mediums beneath a completed scene.
