Louis Peart is a multicultural, Sydney based artist who predominantly uses oil paint to explore the human condition beyond material reality. He draws inspiration from the landscapes of Wedderburn, in the Australian bush and his family and friends to create biomorphic, expressionist dreamscapes. His work is most concerned with examining the visual and spiritual connections between nature and humanity. More specifically, delving into themes of environmental concern, mortality and insecurity.
