Francisca Carrasco-Reyes’ (b. 2001) artistic practice foregrounds material experimentation and a slow process in her exploration of the body. The physical actions involved in producing the work—mending, tearing, patching, cutting, etc.—speak to the underlying tension between trauma and healing, which we encounter throughout her body of work.
