Alexandra Henley Yuen Wan Wong is a multidisciplinary artist concerned with expressing personal experiences in open-ended, playful ways with hints of seriousness and the gravity of complex emotions. Her work encompasses storytelling and portrait-like aspects through an expanded photographic practice and humorous performance pieces. Alexandra's art making process embraces materiality and the abnormalities that naturally occur when working playfully and intuitively with a range of mediums and digital editing softwares. Finished works are not finished to Alexandra without a quirky and engaging installation to include the audience in her expression of the world.
