Marie-Aubeline (b. 1998, Royan, France) is a French artist based in Sydney, Australia. With a background as a Pastry Chef, she explores the emotional and sensory connections people have with food. Her work is represented by Bison Art, Sydney. She also had two solo shows this year and has featured at multiple art fairs.
Marie-Aubeline’s practice spans vibrant oil paintings that celebrate shared moments around meals and highly textured abstract works that mimic the appearance of butter, gelato, and cake icing. Her playful sculptures, like her melting Ice Pops, evoke nostalgia and joy, reminding viewers to savour life's fleeting moments. Through her art, she aims to bring warmth and happiness, inviting people to reconnect with the simple pleasures of food and shared experiences.
